Job Summary

Conduct color and defect inspections on boards, measure and align boards on carts, and pull and band scrap boards. Operate banders and staple guns, refill roll carts, and move completed units to designated locations while clearing production line jam-ups. Isolate defective products, update Tier 1 boards, and maintain accurate records for First Piece Inspection and changeover forms. Perform heavy cleaning tasks, including truck dumps and dusting equipment, while monitoring raw material supplies and restocking as necessary. Learn to string up extrusion lines and observe printing and tag adherence to ensure quality standards. Work in a manufacturing environment requiring physical labor, lifting up to 50 lbs, and standing for extended periods.

  • Ability to inspect groove, side printing, and finished products for quality and defects
  • Ability to monitor SPC screens and ensure accurate labeling
  • Ability to perform color and defect inspections requiring close attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may include noise, vibrations, and varying temperatures
  • Ability to manage heavy cleaning tasks such as dusting walls, performing truck dumps, and clearing jam-ups
  • Ability to adapt to handling products in potentially dusty or wet conditions during cooling water removal or cleaning tasks
  • Ability to communicate defects and operational issues with team members
