Job Summary
Set up and run packaging machines according to the daily production schedule while ensuring proper seal, dating, film alignment, and product quality. Operate equipment to maintain accurate weights, vacuum levels, and legible coding, and efficiently load top film when supplies are low or during product switches. Change parts correctly, control waste of materials, and ensure proper assembly of Multipond Scales and Mondini Sealers. Keep accurate daily paperwork, communicate downtime exceeding 15 minutes to the supervisor, and maintain a clean, organized work area following GMP/HAACP procedures. Perform all tasks safely in cold, wet environments with extended hours, including weekends and after regular business hours, based on production needs.

- Must be 18 years old to apply

- Must be available for extended hours based on production needs
- Must be available for work after regular business hours
- Must be available for work on weekends
- Knowledge of packaging machines, scales and/or mechanical aptitude
- Intermediate level communication skills
- Ability to delegate responsibilities
- Ability to troubleshoot and quickly adapt to unexpected events
- Ability to neatly and accurately complete paperwork
- Flexibility to changeover on short notice
- Ability to operate an electric pallet jack
- Ability to safely use a ladder
- Hand/eye coordination
- Standing 100% of shift
