Job Summary
Entry-level Operator I responsible for running and maintaining production equipment in a food processing facility under the direction of the Production Supervisor, including labelers, scales, conveyors, casers, fillers, stackers, coders and other related equipment, while ensuring safety, GMP compliance, food safety and quality; no supervisory responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in Manufacturing, Food Processing, Food Service, Assembly Line, or Sanitation
- Willing and able to work flexible shifts and hours, including overtime, weekends and holidays
- Ability to demonstrate and practice safety work habits
- Ability to effectively work in a team environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to demonstrate alpha and numeric matching skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurements
