Job Summary
Operator I in Abbott's Electrophysiology division, based in Plymouth, MN. Performs routine and repetitive assembly operations including casting/coating functions, inspecting medical devices after molding operations for bubbles or epoxy issues, patching defects with syringes, mechanical assembly, and packaging of devices and accessories. Uses microscopes and small tools to locate and correct problems, and reviews device documentation for completeness and accuracy. Requires ability to read, comprehend, and follow procedures, follow verbal instructions, utilize electronic data collection systems, prioritize multiple jobs, handle small parts, and make critical judgments with minimal supervision. Standard shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 am–3:30 pm. Base pay ranges from $14.35 to $28.75 per hour.
