Job Summary

Operate mixing, baking, and decorating machinery safely and efficiently while maintaining production supplies at prescribed levels to prevent line shutdowns. Perform assignments according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), read product formulas, temperatures, and times from Building of Materials (BOM), and coordinate product flow with Production Leads. Ensure food safety and quality throughout production by adhering to SQF, HACCP, and GMP standards, reporting any issues or waste immediately to supervisors. Maintain good housekeeping, follow dress code standards, and meet production targets within required timeframes. Work the 1st shift (3:00 AM–3:00 PM) at our Aurora, CO facility, with overtime and weekends available as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule
  • Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends if necessary
  • Must be able to read and write in either English or Spanish
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, team environment
  • Demonstrates good verbal communication skills
  • Able to stay focused in a loud working environment
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment requiring strict work/safety rules 100% of the time
  • Must be able to operate mixing, baking and decorating machinery in a safe and efficient manner
  • Must maintain production supplies at the prescribed levels so that the line does not shut down for lack of product
  • Performs assignments in accordance with established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies and procedures
  • Reads all product formulas, temperatures, and times according to Building of Materials (BOM)
  • Coordinate with Production Leads as to product flow for the mixing of batches
  • Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time
  • Ensures that work ethic provides a positive influence on the production floor
  • Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space
  • Follows production dress code standards and maintains good personal hygiene
  • Reports all production waste to Production Lead or Supervisor
  • Responsible for food safety and food quality throughout production
  • Responsible for notifying a Production Lead when they step off the line to ensure food safety and food quality standards are maintained
  • Understands the management of Quality Systems and is familiar with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices which help ensure the safety within the workplace and the production of a safe and quality product(s)
