Job Summary
Grind and smooth manufactured parts by examining surfaces for defects, selecting abrasive belts or wheels, and removing scratches, rust, and burrs. Polish ground areas with finer abrasives to produce smooth surfaces and replace worn disks, wheels, and belts. Operate a certified lift truck and execute tasks against performance criteria while managing confidential information. Work in a manufacturing environment with extended standing and lifting up to 50 lbs. Requires strong communication skills, team building abilities, and ERP literacy.
Required Qualifications
- Operate lift truck with certification
- Computer/ERP literate
- Physical Capacity Profile/Drug screen required
