Job Summary
Operates forklift and supports material movement in a Scotts Miracle-Gro/Hawthorne facility. Responsibilities include moving supplies, completing daily inspections and tag-out procedures for powered industrial trucks, processing required paperwork (transfers, bills of lading, counts, changeover data, damage reports), operating dock locking mechanisms and trailer chocks, using inventory systems (computer and handheld scanners), and providing materials/documentation for rework or trials to support production and quality goals.
