Job Summary
Equipment Operator – Pipe Bursting / Underground Utilities: Operate and maintain heavy construction equipment (excavators, backhoes, pipe bursting winch systems, air compressors, vacuum trucks as needed) to support trenchless pipe rehabilitation projects. Dig launch/receiving pits, excavate for reconnections, set up pipe bursting equipment, align bursting rods and pulling systems, load/unload materials, assist with trench backfill and restoration, and perform basic equipment maintenance. Ensure safety and OSHA compliance, work with the Pipe Bursting Supervisor and crew, and follow project specifications. CDL preferred; OSHA 10/30 certifications encouraged; 3+ years heavy equipment operation and experience around underground utilities required. Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate around heavy equipment. Required Qualifications
