Job Summary
Operate the Standard Lithium unit safely and efficiently by supporting related projects, monitoring processes in the field or control room, and reporting unusual or unsafe conditions. Ensure all safety, environmental, and standard operating procedures are followed while identifying routine maintenance requirements and participating in activities that enhance plant safety, reliability, and production objectives. Cross-train on all operations within the area and coach others to demonstrate behavior consistent with site standards. Maintain good housekeeping practices and possess mechanical aptitude for working with tools and minor maintenance. Must be able to work twelve-hour rotating day/night shifts with overtime as needed. Valid driver's license and clean criminal background required. Forklift experience or ability to learn is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform multiple functions simultaneously
- Must be a team player
- Good problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work twelve-hour rotating day/night and overtime as needed
- Mechanical aptitude (working with pipe wrenches and tools needed for plant activities and minor maintenance)
- Experience in operating a forklift or ability to learn
- Participation in plant safety programs
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Must have a valid driver license
- Clean Criminal Background Needed
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in operations is a plus
