Job Summary
Multi-skilled Operator/Electrician role at Alpheus (Anglian Water Group) supporting WWTP operations in Irvine. Responsibilities include proactive maintenance, fault finding, and operation of plant assets and infrastructure, routine plant operation duties, sampling and basic laboratory testing, and adherence to environmental permit requirements. Emphasis on safety culture, KPI achievement, and continuous improvement; collaboration within a close-knit shift team; on-call rotation and weekend work included. Ideal candidate will have electrical/mechanical/instrument qualifications and experience with asset-management practices; lab testing experience is an advantage and full training is provided. Strong communication, organisational skills, adaptability, and IT/customer-service abilities are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Electrical or mechanical qualifications (City and Guilds / SNVQ)
- Experience in a similar role in wastewater operations or industrial processing would be advantageous
