Job Summary
Operate heavy machinery, primarily backhoes, to excavate plumbing trenches while adhering to OSHA and company safety standards. Perform regular equipment maintenance, including grease and fluid checks, and assist with installing and relocating equipment between job sites. Read blueprints, communicate effectively with subcontractors, and represent the company professionally across Ohio sites. Requires valid driver's license, OSHA 10 certification, and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years experience operating a backhoe in field plumbing operations
- Ability to read blueprints
- Knowledge of general plumbing and piping installation
- Working knowledge of all hand and power tools
- Ability to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy and productivity
- Basic math skills
- High School or GED Equivalent
- Eyesight correctable to 20/50
- Able to perform shift work
- Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 60 lbs
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid Drivers License
- Able to operate heavy machinery
- OSHA 10 Construction Industry
