Job Summary
Operate and monitor production equipment across processes such as drying, freezing, grinding, sifting, and packaging while maintaining safety and efficiency. Set up, assemble, disassemble, clean, and sanitize equipment and work areas between production runs. Load, unload, transfer, and transport materials and finished products throughout the production process. Perform quality checks, including CCP verifications, and identify and escalate any product or process issues. Follow all safety protocols, including PPE and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, and participate in safety meetings and training. Support team operations by communicating effectively, assisting with training, and preparing for upcoming production needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least six months of production experience or equivalent training and experience
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Ability to track counts, weights, and inventory
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Forklift experience preferred and ERP familiarity a plus
