Job Summary
Blending Operator at Lesaffre on a rotating 6:00 AM–6:00 PM day shift. Responsible for blending, packaging, and shipping products, following recipes to create blends, staging raw materials and packaging materials, completing in-process checks, documenting and unloading materials, loading trucks, and completing required paperwork. Operates fork lift and floor scrubber, maintains clean and safe production and warehouse areas, and reports data while following safety protocols. Requires ability to follow procedures, maintain records, and demonstrate mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills; prior production/bakery experience is preferred and computer proficiency is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
- Food product packaging and/or blending experience preferred
- Shipping and/or receiving experience preferred
- Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and follow through to completion
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills
- Ability to prioritize and organize work
- Computer proficiency required
- Solid understanding of basic math and science and the ability to apply this knowledge
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Must be detail oriented and safety minded
