Job Summary
Operator is responsible for the operation of computer controlled process equipment and cooker, monitoring and adjusting temperatures, flow, and rates; oversee rendering from raw material to finished goods; perform product quality testing; maintain safety and housekeeping; perform periodic preventative maintenance; monitor control panels and gauges; operate pollution control and boiler systems; requires ability to work night shifts and weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- One year of Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical rendering process preferred
- Chemical manufacturing experience a plus
- Basic math skills; ability to compute decimals and percentages
- Basic computer skills
- Good oral and written skills
- Ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed
