Job Summary
Monitor meters, gauges, pumps, and instrument readings while performing operations and maintenance duties on a platform production facility under direct supervision. Start, operate, and inspect facility equipment, maintaining production data in multiple forms and notifying supervisors of issues requiring corrective action. Operate pedestal/boom cranes to transfer personnel and supplies, manage radio and telephone communications, and handle chemicals ensuring proper equipment use. Adhere to safety procedures, participate in training for first aid and emergency evacuation, and travel to the worksite via marine or helicopter transport. Reside at the Mouton Cove, LA terminal on a 14x14 rotation.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience required in oil and gas production
- Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required
- Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- High school diploma or equivalent
