Operator Coordinator - Construction

Coordinate and develop heavy equipment operators for Kokosing’s field operations by evaluating candidates, arranging interviews and assessments, providing operator training, and ensuring the best fit for both the company and the operators. Responsibilities include recruiting and hiring operators, conducting pre-employment assessments and the Operator Expectations Quiz, coordinating operator placement, training new operators to improve operation skills, maintaining relationships with operators, mechanics, superintendents, management, and unions, inspecting equipment for safety and maintenance, and ensuring operations stay within rated capacities. Requires strong communication, organizational and leadership skills, knowledge of dirt-moving equipment, MSHA/OSHA awareness, and a valid driver’s license with a good driving history; field-focused environment with most duties in the field and interactions with management, educators, and vendors.
