Job Summary
Responsible for safely and efficiently performing Civil/Electrical duties at the project site, operating a range of heavy and light equipment including backhoe, loader, roller, rock truck, blade, excavator, dozer, forklift for crane erection, and more. Conducts pre-inspections, monitors hours and fuel usage, reports deficiencies, and performs routine maintenance and minor repairs. Works on varied terrains, maintains organized job sites and materials, and adheres to PPE and OSHA safety procedures. Must be certified on-site for all equipment, with CDL/CDO-related certifications preferred for certain cranes, and willing to travel and work away from home as required. Frequent physical activity; exposure to adverse environmental conditions; pre-employment drug test and background check required. Equal opportunity employer; drug-free workplace.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with backhoe, loader, roller and rock truck (Level I)
- Experience with blade, excavator and dozer (Level II)
- Experience with trencher and up to 130 ton crane/crawler RT and up to 250T crane/crawler or AT (Levels III and IV)
- On-site certification for all types of heavy/light equipment (must display skill level to a Superintendent)
- CCO certification for crane operators
- CDL certifications are a plus for AT cranes
- Willingness to travel and work away from home as required
- OSHA safety procedures and PPE usage
- Pre-inspection checks and reporting
- Maintenance and minor repairs of equipment
- Ability to operate multiple equipment types
- Strong safety and security awareness
