Job Summary
Mentor others while receiving, sampling, loading, and unloading inbound bulk shipments of used oil by rail and truck. Ensure health and safety compliance by adhering to all safe work practices, reviewing paperwork for regulatory adherence, and preparing sample submissions for lab analysis. Unload rail cars, trucks, and trailers into receiving tanks and manage facility housekeeping. Submit paperwork receipts for filing and processing. Work in hot and cold conditions, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Forklift and Track Mobile experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- Must be able to stand for long periods, stoop, climb and lift up to 50lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of loading/unloading of rail or truck preferred
- Knowledge of loading and unloading railcars and tankers preferred
- Forklift experience
- Track Mobile experience preferred
- DOT or RCRA training an asset!
- Ability to work in hot and cold weather conditions
- Comfortable working at height of up to 14ft
- Basic computer knowledge
- Work well in a team environment
