Job Summary
Set up baggers and scales for frozen food packaging lines at the Brunswick facility, ensuring correct rollstock threading, calibration, and product specifications. Assist maintenance mechanics with preventive tasks like greasing bearings and report operational problems immediately. Monitor weights and seals periodically, notify the Team Leader of issues, and coordinate with QA to correct them. Perform housekeeping duties including sweeping debris, disposing of packaging waste, and washing down floors with a low-pressure hose. Prepare quality and production paperwork daily.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 to 2 Years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to follow directions
- Punctual and reliable in their work attendance
- Adhere to all safety and quality policies and practices
- Ability to work as a team player
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
