Job Summary
Operate baggers and scales to package frozen food products, ensuring equipment runs to efficiency standards while producing high-quality ice cream that meets safety and quality specifications. Prepare casting materials, set up workstations, and confirm correct rollstock usage to maintain smooth process flow. Calibrate scales, identify potential hazards, and correct them immediately to comply with GMP and food safety standards. Assist the Lead as needed and work cooperatively with team members to contribute to company profitability through safe, cost-conscious, and efficient operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills including Excel and Word
- Self-motivated and ability to take initiative and use sound judgment in day-to-day decision making
- Punctual and reliable in work attendance
- Ability to organize and communicate to all levels of personnel
- Flexible and able to manage others
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent English communication skills
- Complies with GMP and safety and food safety standards at all times
