Job Summary
Assemble mechanical units and fabricated parts into sub-assemblies or complete products using hand and power tools, jigs, dies, and fixtures to cut, file, fit, punch, ream, rivet, form, and assemble. Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts to meet tolerances while monitoring quality of products and raw materials. Maintain equipment in a neat, clean, orderly fashion and operate machinery safely and efficiently in compliance with OSHA requirements. Ensure production lines are set up and running per schedules, perform prestart-up inspections, and manage hazardous waste according to regulations. Collaborate with supervisors and QA to resolve issues, rectify quality problems, and stop the line for contamination events. Work M-F from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of experience in packaging or distribution
- Willing to multitask and be flexible
- Demonstrate mechanical ability
- Critical decision-making skills
- Creativity
- Multitasking ability
- Shift: M-F - 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a chemical plant
- Understanding/familiarity with cGMP and RCRA training
