Job Summary
Operate molding machines and air-activated tools to assemble, decorate, or produce automotive interior parts. Retrieve, separate, inspect, count, weigh, pack, and label components while using hand tools to trim and prepare materials. Monitor production quality against approved samples, chart machine factors affecting quality, and advise supervision on malfunctions or variances. Perform routine cleaning to maintain 5S standards, assist with mold changes and color transitions, and interface with production monitoring systems. Follow Operator Instruction Sheets for inspection procedures and packing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to stand for entire work shift
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Possesses the ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices
- Agreement to complete all post-hire required training
