Job Summary
Review drawings and instructions to ensure accurate production, then set up parts with fixtures and preset tools for job-specific applications. Take precise measurements for cutting, maintain inventory of completed products, and check output for quality assurance while documenting or discarding defects. Keep the workstation safe and clean, and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Requires 2+ years of CNC operator experience with lathe/milling machine maintenance, a high school diploma, and proficiency in machine shop tools, safety protocols, and intermediate math skills. Swing-shift schedule from 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM, M-F. Forklift experience and machinist-level course training are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- CNC Operator with 2 or more years of experience in maintaining lathe/milling machines
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic knowledge of machine shop tools and equipment
- Familiarity with establishment safety protocols and guidelines
- Excellent coordination and mechanical skills
- Efficient written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate math skills
- Basic computer skills
- Swing-shift schedule: M - F, 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM
