Job Summary
Operate, monitor, test, and maintain all process equipment and safety devices from the wellhead to the sales line while supervising personnel to ensure safe practices and a pollution-free environment. Perform daily facility maintenance, repairs, good housekeeping, parts storage, and record keeping. Interpret gas meter charts per AGA No.3 and ASTM standards, calculate daily rates, complete well testing, and report production information to maximize recovery. Monitor wells and equipment performance to deliver maximum sales quality and quantity of gas, oil, or condensate while discharging produced water with less than 29 ppm hydrocarbons. Manage safety record keeping, emergency evacuation plans, and safety shutdown systems in accordance with BSEE and USCG regulations. Requires 3-4 years of oil and gas production experience; 14x14 schedule in Mouton Cove, LA; US work authorization required.
Required Qualifications
- Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood
- 3-4 years of experience in oil and gas production
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- 5+ years' experience in oil and gas production
