Job Summary
Operate, maintain, and repair all facility equipment, quarters, and process devices from the wellhead to the sales line on a daily basis. Monitor personnel, wells, and production equipment to maximize recovery while calculating daily rates, completing well tests, and reporting production information. Interpret gas meter charts and liquid volume data in accordance with AGA No.3 and ASTM standards. Supervise personnel during daily functions to ensure safe practices and a pollution-free environment compliant with federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain records for safety shutdown systems and devices per BSEE regulations. Perform weekly and monthly safety meetings, emergency evacuation planning, and boarding personnel briefings. Work a 14x14 schedule with a terminal in Venice, LA, with US work authorization required.
Required Qualifications
- Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood
- 3-4 years of experience required in oil and gas production
- Must be willing to work on the deck
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- 5+ years' experience in oil and gas production preferred
- Some subsea experience preferred
