Job Summary
Operate, maintain, and repair facility equipment, quarters, and most processing machinery from the wellhead to the sales line daily. Monitor well performance, calculate production rates, and troubleshoot issues while managing discharge water. Perform record-keeping for BSEE and USCG requirements, including safety meetings, evacuation plans, and emergency procedures. Operate and test safety shutdown systems, firefighting equipment, and navigational aids in compliance with regulations. Manage rotating equipment such as compressors, generators, pumps, and winches with minimal supervision. Maintain control panels and monitor liquid levels, flow rates, and temperatures to ensure designed operating ranges. Work a 14x14 schedule at a terminal in Santa Fe or Galveston, TX.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience required in oil and gas production
- Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required
- Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- 2+ years' experience preferred
