Operator A Bedding - Floater/Relief Operator

Floater/Relief Operator at Temple, TX manufacturing plant responsible for the safe operation of equipment used in manufacturing components and/or finished products for internal and external customers per daily production schedules. Maintains communication with Quality Control, Department Manager, and other department staff to meet production needs. Works in a normal manufacturing environment with exposure to temperature changes. Essential duties include reading and completing the labeling process, operating machinery according to customer specifications and production schedules, conducting quality checks to ensure product specifications are met, monitoring downtime, inputting data into the SAP system, and making machine adjustments as needed. Non-essential duties include inventory assistance. Competencies include ethics, adaptability, attendance/punctuality, dependability, quality, and safety. Requires basic reading, writing, and math skills, basic computer knowledge, ability to read a tape measure, and the ability to work flexible hours and overtime. Education requirement: High School diploma or GED.
