Job Summary
Logistics Operator responsible for the safe and efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods at the Brantford, Ontario bakery. You will support production flow, handle shipping and receiving activities, maintain accurate documentation and system records related to material movement and inventory, and ensure GMP/food safety compliance while collaborating with supervisors and team members. Responsibilities include operating powered industrial equipment, supplying materials to picking and production lines, promoting a clean and safe warehouse/production environment, and communicating priorities to the team.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years forklift driving experience
- Valid forklift operator license (Counterbalance, Walkie, Raymond Reach)
- Proven written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and perform in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and stooping
- Clear criminal background check (or has received a pardon)
