Job Summary
Operate safety doors on molding machines to extract parts or load fixtures, and perform secondary operations like trimming with knives or power tools. Shut down the machine in emergencies, safely answer alarms, and shut off water for large leaks. Clean auxiliary equipment including hoppers, grinders, and dryers, while collecting first and last shots. Complete production orders and machine cards, identify material tickets, and follow rework procedures using limit samples. Maintain a clean, organized environment and adhere to safety policies. Available for overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must remain at machine for duration of shift as required except for scheduled break times
- Capable of shutting down a machine in an emergency
- Be available to work overtime as needed
- A pre-employment and 9 panel (no THC) Drug screen required
