Job Summary
Review job specifications for material and set-up requirements, performing or delegating set-up tasks, and monitoring equipment and product through the job run to ensure high quality. Conduct moderately complex trouble-shooting related to product or equipment, evaluate mechanical condition, and complete preventive maintenance while involving Maintenance as needed. Use computer-based workflow applications to manage files and communicate effectively during shift and at shift hand-off. Work the 2nd shift (2:30p - 10:30p) in Eagan, Minnesota, with occasional overtime up to four hours daily and weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or higher
- Ability to read, interpret and explain documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and production orders
- Experience with Lean and continuous improvement
- Good communication skills including experience sharing information across shifts and departments
- Proven success as a trainer
- Competence with rulers and measurement
- Ability to regularly lift at least 5 lbs. above the shoulder as well as push, pull, and lift at least 10 lbs occasionally up to 50 lbs
- Ability to regularly stand, walk, crouch, bend, reach, and kneel
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test, as applicable for the role
