Job Summary
Operate CNC machining equipment (turning, milling, grinders, drills) and interpret technical drawings/blueprints to ensure proper machining. Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to meet tolerances. Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, and machine attachments; monitor and adjust machine settings; troubleshoot to maintain production efficiency. Perform routine machine maintenance and uphold safety regulations. Maintain production records, participate in process improvement initiatives, and contribute to efficiency and productivity gains. Requires secondary school or equivalent with a major in mechanical manufacturing or CNC machining and more than 5 years of machining operation experience; familiarity with lathes, cutting tools, fixtures; basic metal technology; strong communication/coordination; understanding of 5S and TPM; ability to read drawings and follow process requirements. Preferred: knowledge of CNC programming.
Required Qualifications
- Secondary school or equivalent experience or above, with a major in mechanical manufacturing or CNC machining
- More than 5 years of machining operation experience
- Familiar with machining processes and have understanding of various lathes, cutting tools, and fixtures
- Possess basic knowledge of metal technology and metal material processing
- Ability to read drawings and perform machining according to process requirements
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Basic understanding of 5S and TPM
