Job Summary
Operator, Bakery- Ingredient Prep needed at Aspire Bakeries’ Swedesboro, NJ bakery. Responsibilities include preparing, scaling, and mixing ingredients according to recipes; monitoring dough consistency, texture, and temperature; controlling ingredient usage and lot traceability; operating Rheon Line within capacity limits; documenting mixing data and production records (MOVEX); maintaining clean, sanitized mixing/ingredient/cooler areas; and reporting potential contamination. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, previous food manufacturing/production experience or transferable skills, strong attention to detail, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, basic data entry skills, and adherence to GMP/food-safety standards. Shift is first; hours 6:00 AM–2:30 PM; weekend availability required. Hourly rate $20.00–$21.25.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a food manufacturing or production environment
- Ability to lift and dump up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer or data entry skills for production documentation
- Ability to follow GMP, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Reliable attendance and punctuality for 1st shift operations
