Job Summary
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental programs while receiving, storing, handling, packaging, shipping, and applying raw materials and products. Perform basic quality inspections, record operational data, and operate mobile and fixed equipment. Maintain facility housekeeping and upkeep, and complete accurate input duties using company operating systems. Requires high school diploma, one to two years of relevant experience, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. This role supports The Andersons' full value chain from farm to global markets, emphasizing collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within a performance-driven agribusiness environment.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years' relevant experience
- Must be able to stand/sit for an extended period of time
- Ability to frequently lift/push/pull up to 60 pounds
- Must be able to climb/stoop/kneel at heights up to 100 feet
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures
- Must be able to work in dust, fumes, moderate noise and uneven surfaces
- Company maintains a drug-free work environment and may require drug, alcohol, and/or medical testing
