Operations Worker - 9 AM Shift

Job Summary
Selects products from inventory and assembles, packs, and transports to staging areas for shipment. Works in freezer, cooler, and dry warehouse; maintains productivity standards and follows safety rules (OSHA/HACCP/BRC). Records item information in the Warehouse Management System and maintains accurate inventory data. Loads/unloads deliveries, stacks pallets with heavier items on the bottom, secures pallets with shrink wrap, and delivers stacked pallets to loading docks. Operates material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) and ensures equipment is maintained. Cross-trains in other warehouse functions and adheres to company policies. Requires physical ability to lift up to 50-60 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally; expects flexible schedule with potential shift variation. Education: high school diploma or GED preferred; certification on material handling equipment or ability to become certified is required or preferred. Authorized to work in the United States; affirmative action employer.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- previous warehouse experience and/or training preferred
- Material Handling Equipment certification preferred or ability to become certified
- Reach truck experience preferred; Crown and/or Raymond reach truck experience a plus
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions and memos; basic math skills
