Operations Visual Inspector Tier I

Job Summary
Perform 100% visual inspection of ophthalmic and parenteral drug products (vials, syringes, ampoules, bottles, IV bags) in accordance with cGMP and FDA requirements. Maintain documentation in batch records, logbooks, and electronic systems; support line clearance and inspection area readiness; identify and report defective or non-conforming materials; participate in qualification/requalification programs and defect-kit training; assist with investigations related to visual defects, deviations, complaints, and non-conforming product events; collaborate with Manufacturing, QA, and QC to ensure product quality; assist with cleaning/sanitization; contribute to continuous improvement and regulatory inspection readiness; adhere to safety, gowning, contamination control, and aseptic behavior in controlled manufacturing environments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to identify visual defects and maintain visual acuity
- Experience working with ophthalmic, sterile, injectable, or parenteral products preferred
