Job Summary
Develop and deliver training programs for Operational Leads and Associates, reinforcing process discipline and quality standards. Conduct onboarding, lead hands-on floor instruction, and perform visual, mechanical, and functional verifications to ensure compliance. Coordinate work order changes, execute ongoing audits, and facilitate refresher sessions or cross-training initiatives. Create and maintain training materials, SOPs, and documentation while tracking trainee progress in designated systems. Provide feedback on process inefficiencies and support corrective action plans when performance gaps are identified. Maintain accurate records and adjust curriculum based on KPIs to ensure training effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of work experience in a supervisory role
- Experience in automotive manufacturing, logistics, or a high-volume production environment
- Prior experience developing training content or managing a training program
- 2+ years of experience in operations, quality, training, or a related environment
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Proficiency in English
- Computer skills – Microsoft Office (basic Microsoft Excel proficiency) and Outlook
- Proficient in the use of various gages and measuring devices
- Ability to lift / move 50 lbs
- Proven ability to train, coach, and motivate team members at multiple skill levels
- Strong knowledge of operational workflows, safety protocols, and quality standards
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively on the production floor and in classroom settings
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Certified Trainer, Lean/Six Sigma background, or similar credentials
- Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish)
