Job Summary
Operate and maintain facility machinery safely to facilitate product receipts and shipments while implementing plant safety controls for fertilizer handling. Support commodity procurement activities and provide high-quality customer service, including assisting customers as needed and taking on customer-facing responsibilities. Identify and report safety hazards, environmental issues, or system deficiencies to the Terminal Manager to support proactive safety management. Maintain incident records according to health and safety standards and recommend process improvements for operational efficiency. Assist the Terminal Manager with team development and training, eventually managing employees, scheduling, and project management. Work flexible hours including overtime as required, with opportunities to relocate for enhanced training and exposure to diverse business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments
- Ability to perform tasks at heights
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Willingness to work overtime
- Willingness to work some nights and weekends
