Job Summary
Operations Technology Specialist responsible for developing and implementing custom technology solutions, assisting with projects to improve systems and data processes used by Michels and its customers. Requires strong communication and organizational skills, self-motivation, and ability to work independently. Skills include ArcGIS or GIS mapping systems, Microsoft Office Suite, ESRI Product Suite, ERP familiarity, SQL databases, and Python. Must have a valid driver license and a related field degree with 1-3 years of experience; bachelor's degree and GIS/Geography knowledge preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 1-3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination
- Experience with ArcGIS or other GIS mapping systems
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Operating Systems, and ESRI Product Suite
- Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven, and an acceptable driving record as determined by Michels Review Team
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science or a related field.
