Job Summary
Operations Technician in the Street/Utility job family performing core utility tasks: complete utility work including meter and gas pressure regulator installations, conduct leak investigations, respond to emergencies, install/repair distribution mains and services, and operate mechanical equipment. Initial assignments focus on utility tasks with exposure to standby and emergency work; role requires ability to work flexible 8- or 10-hour shifts, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid NJ driver’s license. DOT-regulated with mandatory drug screening and pre-employment hands-on assessment; environment includes field operations across New Jersey with opportunities to contribute to safe, reliable gas service to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
Required Qualifications
