Job Summary
Greet customers promptly and courteously while maintaining and increasing agronomy and feed sales, grain origination, and marketing with existing and new customers. Assist in elevator operations, receiving and unloading grain, and grain drying, including measuring inventory weekly or monthly and maintaining grain condition through temperature testing and blending. Perform grain train loading, cleaning, and sealing cars, while also managing fertilizer and chemical operations such as pumping bulk chemicals into tanks and tending to applicators. Maintain and repair equipment as needed, ensure facility cleanliness and safety records, and measure inventory for reporting. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and high school diploma. Must understand seasonality and in-season time commitment.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment
Desired Qualifications
- Be able to obtain a Class A CDL with air brake, tanker, and HazMat endorsements
- Participate in company DOT drug and alcohol program and maintain current DOT physical
- Good computer skills
