Job Summary
Greet customers promptly, maintain and increase agronomy and feed sales, and grow business with existing and new customers. Assist in elevator operations, receiving and unloading grain, grain drying, and grain train loading including cleaning and sealing cars. Measure grain inventory weekly or monthly, maintain grain condition by testing temperatures and blending, and keep facility clean and safe. Assist in fertilizer and chemical operations, unload bulk and packaged products, pump bulk chemicals into customer tanks, and tender to applicators. Maintain and repair equipment as needed. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, high school diploma, and understanding of agricultural seasonality. Class A CDL with air brake, tanker, and HazMat endorsements are helpful.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment
Desired Qualifications
- Be able to obtain a Class A CDL with air brake, tanker, and HazMat endorsements
- Participate in company DOT drug and alcohol program and maintain current DOT physical
- Good computer skills
