Job Summary
Greet customers promptly and courteously while maintaining and increasing agronomy, feed sales, and grain origination. Execute elevator, grain drying, and train loading operations including cleaning and sealing cars. Measure grain inventory weekly or monthly, test temperatures for grain condition, and blend products as needed. Assist in fertilizer and chemical operations by measuring inventory, unloading bulk products, pumping chemicals into tanks, and tending to applicators. Maintain and repair equipment while keeping the facility clean and safe with current housekeeping records. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and high school diploma. Must understand agricultural seasonality and commit to in-season time requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment
Desired Qualifications
- Be able to obtain a Class A CDL with air brake, tanker, and HazMat endorsements
- Participate in company DOT drug and alcohol program and maintain current DOT physical
- Good computer skills
