Job Summary
Greet customers, maintain and increase agronomy and feed sales, and manage grain origination and marketing. Perform elevator operations, receiving, unloading, and drying grain, while measuring inventory and loading grain trains. Execute fertilizer and chemical operations, including pumping bulk chemicals, tending to applicators, and filling NH3 nurse tanks. Maintain equipment, keep facilities clean and safe, and test grain temperatures for blending. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, high school diploma, and understanding of agricultural seasonality. Class A CDL with air brake, tanker, and HazMat endorsements are helpful.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment
Desired Qualifications
- Be able to obtain a Class A CDL with air brake, tanker, and HazMat endorsements
- Participate in company DOT drug and alcohol program and maintain current DOT physical
- Good computer skills
