Operations Technician - Seasonal

Job Summary
Greet customers promptly and courteously while maintaining and increasing agronomy, feed sales, and grain origination. Assist with elevator operations, receiving and unloading grain, and grain drying. Measure grain inventory weekly or monthly and maintain facility cleanliness and safety records. Perform grain train loading, including cleaning and sealing cars, and test temperatures to maintain grain condition. Support fertilizer and chemical operations by measuring inventory, unloading bulk products, and pumping chemicals into customer tanks. Tender to applicators and fill NH3 nurse tanks during the season. Maintain and repair equipment as needed while understanding basic agronomy chemistry. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, high school diploma, and Class A CDL with air brake, tanker, and HazMat endorsements. Seasonal time commitment required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment
Desired Qualifications
- Be able to obtain a Class A CDL with air brake, tanker, and HazMat endorsements
- Participate in company DOT drug and alcohol program and maintain current DOT physical
- Good computer skills
