Operations Technician - Seasonal

Job Summary
Greet customers promptly and courteously while maintaining and increasing agronomy and feed sales, grain origination, and marketing with existing and new customers. Assist in elevator operations, receiving and unloading grain, grain drying, and grain train loading including cleaning and sealing cars. Measure grain inventory weekly or monthly, maintain grain condition by testing temperatures and blending, and keep facility clean with current housekeeping records. Support fertilizer and chemical operations by pumping bulk chemicals into customer tanks, tending to applicators, filling NH3 nurse tanks, and providing customer service for chemical product orders. Maintain and repair equipment as needed. Valid driver's license required; Class A CDL with air brake, tanker, and HazMat endorsements helpful. High school diploma or GED; able to lift up to 50 pounds, occasionally 100 pounds. Seasonal agricultural cooperative role requiring understanding of in-season time commitment.
Required Qualifications

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment
Desired Qualifications
- Be able to obtain a Class A CDL with air brake, tanker, and HazMat endorsements
- Participate in company DOT drug and alcohol program and maintain current DOT physical
- Good computer skills
