Job Summary
Greet customers promptly and courteously while maintaining and increasing agronomy, feed sales, and grain origination with existing and new clients. Assist in elevator operations, receiving, unloading, and grain drying, including weekly inventory measurements and grain train loading with cleaning and sealing. Perform grain condition testing, temperature monitoring, and blending. Support fertilizer and chemical operations by measuring inventory, reporting to supervisors, unloading bulk products, and pumping chemicals into customer tanks. Maintain and repair equipment, ensure facility cleanliness, and tender to applicators. Fill NH3 nurse tanks during the season. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds (occasionally 100), and high school diploma. Seasonal time commitment applies.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment
Desired Qualifications
- Be able to obtain a Class A CDL with air brake, tanker, and HazMat endorsements
- Participate in company DOT drug and alcohol program and maintain current DOT physical
- Good computer skills
