Operations Technician - Seasonal

Job Summary
Greet customers promptly and courteously while maintaining and increasing agronomy, feed sales, and grain origination. Assist in elevator operations, receiving, unloading, and drying grain, including measuring inventory and loading trains with cleaning and sealing. Manage fertilizer and chemical operations by pumping bulk products, tending to applicators, and filling NH3 nurse tanks. Maintain facility cleanliness, safety records, and equipment as needed, while understanding basic agronomy chemistry and seasonality. This seasonal role supports Landus' outside operations with a focus on customer service and business growth.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment
Desired Qualifications
- Be able to obtain a Class A CDL with air brake, tanker, and HazMat endorsements
- Participate in company DOT drug and alcohol program and maintain current DOT physical
- Good computer skills
