Job Summary
Greet customers, maintain and increase agronomy and feed sales, and grow business with existing and new customers. Assist in elevator operations, receiving, unloading, and grain drying. Measure grain inventory weekly or monthly, load grain trains, and clean and seal cars. Maintain grain condition by testing temperatures and blending, while keeping the facility clean and safe. Assist in fertilizer and chemical operations, including measuring inventory, unloading bulk products, and pumping chemicals into customer tanks. Tender to applicators and fill NH3 nurse tanks during the season. This seasonal role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. A Class A CDL with air brake, tanker, and HazMat endorsements is helpful.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment
Desired Qualifications
- Be able to obtain a Class A CDL with air brake, tanker, and HazMat endorsements
- Participate in company DOT drug and alcohol program and maintain current DOT physical
- Good computer skills
