Job Summary
Greet customers and manage agronomy and feed sales, grain origination, and marketing with existing and new clients. Perform elevator operations, receiving, unloading, and drying grain, while measuring inventory weekly or monthly. Execute grain train loading including cleaning and sealing cars, maintain facility safety, and test grain temperatures for blending. Assist with fertilizer and chemical operations, pump bulk chemicals into tanks, and tender to applicators. Maintain and repair equipment as needed, ensuring all products meet agronomy chemistry standards. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and high school diploma. Seasonal commitment with Class A CDL preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment
Desired Qualifications
- Be able to obtain a Class A CDL with air brake, tanker, and HazMat endorsements
- Participate in company DOT drug and alcohol program and maintain current DOT physical
- Good computer skills
