Job Summary
Greet customers and maintain agronomy and feed sales while managing grain origination and marketing. Perform elevator, drying, and grain train loading operations, including cleaning and sealing cars. Measure grain inventory weekly or monthly, test temperatures, and blend grain to maintain condition. Assist in fertilizer and chemical operations, pump bulk chemicals into tanks, and tender to applicators. Maintain and repair equipment, keep facilities clean, and ensure housekeeping records are current. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and high school diploma. Seasonal commitment expected with potential Class A CDL endorsement.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment
Desired Qualifications
- Be able to obtain a Class A CDL with air brake, tanker, and HazMat endorsements
- Participate in company DOT drug and alcohol program and maintain current DOT physical
- Good computer skills
